Regisseur Myles O’Reilly, mit dem der Singer/Songwriter bereits einige Male zuvor zusammenarbeitete, hat Folgendes zum Video-Kurzfilm zu sagen: „Working with Glen on this video was the closest Ive ever felt to being a film maker, a teller of fiction. I’m proud to have facilitated his idea. It was Glens description of the girl whispering to her poster of Bowie, that stayed with me for months before the shoot. The powerful image of handing down of her icon to her little sister. Glen is master storyteller in sound and in vision. He needs to make a film.“ Glen Hansard, der am 19. Februar mit der „A Season On The Line EP“ bereits neue Stücke veröffentlichen wird, nutzt das Musikvideo seinerseits als Tribut an den vorgestern verstorbenen David Bowie: „Thank you David, for being a signpost for our growth and boldness, you gave us the courage to become..“ Toll anzusehen ist’s in jedem Fall.
